Web Image Saver

Overview

This shortcut allows you to extract all images from the current Safari webpage with a single tap, letting you select and batch-save them directly to the "Recents" album in your Photos app.

Key Features & Privacy

• Works Offline: This shortcut runs entirely on your device. Once the webpage is loaded, the image extraction process does not require an internet connection.
• Privacy Focused: It does not collect, save, or transmit any of your data or browsing history. Everything stays on your device.

Add to Home Screen (Optional)

For even quicker access, you can add this shortcut as an icon to your Home Screen.

1. Open the Shortcuts app.
2. Find the "Save Web Images to Photos" shortcut and tap the three dots (...) on it.
3. Tap the Info icon (ⓘ) at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select "Add to Home Screen".
5. Customize the name and icon if you wish, then tap "Add".

💡 How to Use

1. Open the webpage you want to download images from in the Safari browser.
2. Wait for the page to fully load to ensure all images can be detected.
3. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
4. In the share sheet, scroll down and tap the "Save Web Images to Photos" shortcut to run it.

The Process

1. After running, the shortcut will automatically fetch all images from the webpage.
2. An image selection screen will appear, allowing you to tap and select one or more images you wish to save.
3. Once you've made your selection, tap "Done" in the top-right corner.
4. The shortcut will save the chosen images to your photo album.

Possible Notifications

• Success:

  Successfully saved [Count] images!

• Images Not Found:

  No images found. Retry after the page loads completely.

  • This usually happens when the page has not finished loading, or if the page contains no extractable images.
